I brought the Seax to the seasons first f3b competition. The cloudbase was to low for the competition to start in the morning, so I did some test starts with the prototype. My v-tail pushrods were no good and the settings for start and flight was off to say the least. What a dumb thing to do! The model stalled and spun on the line. It hit the ground some 100 meters away, and by the time I came back with it (undamaged by the way)everybody had politely changed the subject. Shit!!... This sounds too much like a diary. End of story.

May 21.-05
Tor Midtlund dropped by last night with some parts for winches. See Venture MKII leaflet for pictures.Tors winch plans are added to the downloadpages.

May 14. -05
After several days of testflights the CG and settings of the SEAX is comming close to where I want them. At almost three kilos the model does not climb to well in the thermals, but speed and distance turns are looking good. So are the starts. With its narrow tips and high weight I was prepared for anything, but the model tracks fine and gives fairely good notice of impending stall on the line. I just can`t wait to build one with lighter wings.

May08.-05
Today was the first flight of the SEAX prototype. Several winch launches was made with good heights.
